TORRES VINA SOL 2007

The Grade: OUTSTANDING. The Mojo: I don’t usually start a review with an “oops, my bad!” but seems I was telling the folks at our tasting last weekend that the Torres Vina Sol 2007 was 100% Viuda. Well, it is actually 100% Parellada, a very light, delicate grape grown in Catalunya, and in Penedes as one of the main grapes used in Cava. Light and crisp, it demonstrates very mineral qualities in the nose with slight fennel notes. On the palate, hints of pineapple, apple, star anise, more fennel and mineral characters, with balanced acidity and a crisp, clean finish that lends itself well as an aperitif or a companion to salads and grilled shrimp.

Trres vina sol es uno de los vinos más suaves que tenemos es ideal para acompañar carnes blancas como el pavo o el pescado. Una verdadera delicia para cualquier conocedor.
